About the KBDi Awards

The Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute is proud to be launching its eighth annual Designer Awards program in 2016.

The Awards recognise the incredible talent of Australia’s Finest Kitchen and Bathroom Designers - from high profile professionals who’ve been in the industry for many years, to up and coming Designers new to the game. The program offers many opportunities for well-regarded industry recognition, media exposure and promotion.


Entries Open:  Tuesday, 1 March, 2016

Entries Close: 12 noon (your local time) on Monday, 13 June, 2016

Chapter Finalists Announced: during the week beginning 11 July, 2016

KBDi Designer Awards Gala: Saturday, 17 September, 2016

Major prizes awarded to:

  • Australian Certified Designer of the Year
  • Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year
  • Australian Bathroom Designer of the Year

The major award winners will win a place on the KBDi Designers International Tour 2017, including airfares, accommodation and ground transport.

Chapter and National Award winning designers will be:

  • highly recognised at the KBDi Designer Awards 2016 gala
  • provided with a Media Promotion Pack
  • featured in Kitchens & Bathrooms Quarterly magazine
  • promoted on the KBDi website
  • presented with a KBDi Designer Awards 2016 winner’s trophy

Entry Fees:

First Entry: $195.00 (GST inclusive)
Subsequent Entries: $135.00 each (GST inclusive)
